I live in Coshocton Ohio, a teeny tiny town of (at the 2000 census) just over 11,600 people. We don't have a lot of food options here. But just up the road is a little company called Smuckers. Perhaps you've heard of it?

Back in 1897, in the Midwestern farming community of Orrville, Ohio, Jerome Monroe Smucker pressed locally grown apples into cider and apple butter. True to his upbringing, Jerome took great pride in a job well done and signed the lid of every crock of apple butter as his personal guarantee of quality.
